Belinda Furlonger

Belinda-FurlongerState Registered Nurse, Workplace Trainer Cat III, Proprietor & Company Director

After 25years of nursing I started working in the Disability sector. I opened Eagleton Ridge Respite Centre after many requests from carers for respite services. My husband and I owned a small farm 10 kms north of Raymond Terrace and I believed it would make a wonderful place for people to come and stay. 15 years down the track, the "Farm" has become a big part of many families lives and I have a huge family of over 3000 people who come to stay with us. I like to think we are a home away from home. I am very proud of the services offered by Eagleton Ridge Respite Centre and all the enthusiastic and dedicated staff members.

I also do some casual support with clients and at times help with various activities. I am everyones best friend and love to have a good joke about. Most of my days are filled with farm activities but I also enjoy going on the activities off the farm. I am Belinda's husband and live onsite at the farm.

Robyn Cameron

Robyn-CameronActivities Coordinator.

I'm Robyn and I have been working at Eagleton Ridge since 2003. I started as a volunteer and a short time later started working part time. Most people know me as "Robyn at the shop" as I used to work mainly at the activity centre in Raymond Terrace before relocating it to the farm. I now have a new Activity Centre at the farm and am slowly getting sorted from the big move. I have strong beliefs of high standards of care and support, to enable our clients to achieve high quality outcomes. I believe in working as a team and that all support services be aimed at increasing the quality of our clients achievements. I believe that everyone is better off having a go rather than sitting doing nothing.
