We understand that providing ongoing care for loved ones with a disability can be challenging. While it can often also be difficult for carers to ask for help, it is important to be able to take some time out for yourself.

Short Term Accommodation sometimes known as Respite, allows the family and carers of a Participant to take a break.

Whether Participants stay for a couple of nights, or a couple of weeks, Eagleton Ridge’s short term accommodation caters to each individual to ensure they feel welcomed, supported and have an enjoyable time.

Whilst staying, Participants are provided support with everyday tasks where needed such as:

• Cooking and food nutrition
• Assistance with medication
• Supporting them with their shopping
• Personal care such as showering and getting dressed
• Cleaning and daily household tasks
• Management of money and budgeting
